60% of syllabus is same between Mains and Prelims. However, the time that a candidate gets to prepare for Mains once Prelims is cleared is not enough. Therefore, for optimizing results, it is advisable to begin with the preparation of Mains to get an edge over others. The time between Prelims and Mains should be used for revision and updating current affairs.

Yes, the academy takes tests very seriously and no leniency is allowed. Students who do not take up tests are not allowed to attend subsequent classes. Practicing writing tests are as important as attending classes for a successful result.
Yes they are and can be approached anytime. However, it is advisable to take prior appointment so that the waiting time can be reduced.
Anarchy never does any good to anyone. The institution strongly believes that discipline is extremely important for the success of any organization. Extensive efforts have been taken to ensure that strict discipline is maintained in the campus and safety of all is ensured. As a part of these measures, bio-metric finger printing machines and CCTVs were installed on every floor.
Yes it is possible to clear the exam in the First attempt. However, this kind of an output requires corresponding efforts. Consistent preparation and regular test writing can assure one of success even in the First attempt.

Test to be taken as per convenience but needs to be submitted before Sunday evening
The fee charged is same because the number of teaching hours in both the modules is almost the same. In the Regular module, Monday is reserved for the weekly test and classes therefore, the teaching is done on all five days which makes a total of 2.5 hours x 5 days = 12.5 hours of GS classes, with 3 hours of test writing and another 3 hours for Optional subject class per week. The math for Weekend module comes up to 7 hours x 2 days = 14 hours of GS classes (inclusive of breaks), with 3 hours of test writing and 3 hours of Optional subject class per week. Since, the number of hours is almost comparable, so is the fee structure same.
The academy does not encourage the practice of paying the fees in installments as this practice is reflective of the resolve of the candidate. A serious candidate will be prepared to attend the whole course and not drop out for any reason whatsoever. It is this strong resolve to pursue the preparation for the Civil Services Examination that Officers IAS Academy wants to promote. However, considering the amount, Rs. 30,000 can be submitted to block a seat and the rest of the amount can be paid before the classes commence
The module was introduced to suit the needs of those who were engaged in some other activity throughout the week yet, wanted to pursue the course. It is specially designed to suit the needs of those who are either studying or working
All of our faculty members are highly qualified. The academy is run by two IAS officers and in addition we have 1 More Senior IAS officer, Retired as Chief Secretary, Tamil Nadu. A Senior Retired IRAS officer who has been part of important committees like Alagh Committee, Hota Committee is an “Advisor and Visiting Faculty” in our Academy.
In addition to this, 1 more IRS Officer and other faculty members have either been through interview stage or have cleared other services
Students can obtain voice recordings which are meticulously recorded in high quality for every class conducted
As of yet, we do not have any hostel, but we have canteen facilities at our premise. However, we do have tie-ups with many hostels and will help our students find suitable accommodation in the city
